The very last time I had my car’s oil changed I dropped off my own oil. I’m not sure what our dealer’s service department normally uses, but we wanted the best, so I brought in a case of Pennzoil. All Pennzoil oils clean out the sludge that other brands leave behind, and I want to ensure that my car lasts us for years to come so I do what I have to do.
Since my oil was changed most recently, we brought my husband’s car to the Walmart Automotive Care Center. He racks up over 100 miles per workday on his car by commuting back and forth to work. Needless to say, his car needs to be in tip top shape, so we try and stay on top of things like maintenance and repairs.
This is the first time we used the Automotive Care Center at Walmart and it was awesome. Upon arrival, the service technicians took our car right in. We selected the Platinum Pennzoil which is a synthetic motor oil that provdes the best cleanliness and protection having been proven to keep pistons up to 40% cleaner than the toughest industry standard.
The service took about 50 minutes from start to finish, and the kids and I chose to enter the store from the service area and shop; I can always shop at Walmart. Kevin likes to hang around and watch the work being done to ensure that his baby is taken care of, so we were both happy.
But if you like a waiting room, they’ve got that too. There was complimentary coffee and water available for customers as well as a television to help pass the time.
When I’m at the dealership with the kids in tow, my energy is focused on keeping them entertained and my mind doesn’t stop running on about all of the things I could be getting done. It was great being able to kill two birds with one stone and not only was it convenient having our oil changed there but we saved on both the service and my shopping trip.

Pennzoil also offers a free warranty that covers 15 engine parts that may fail due to engine wear or which experience abnormal wear due to friction.
Seems that they have everything at walmart now. One stop shop
i go to walmart all the time but I always forget they have a service center. I will try and remember the next time in need an oil change.

I used to get my cars oil changed and other maintenance at Wal Mart all the time when I lived in OK. Now that I live in rural MI, the closest WM doesn’t have an auto center.
We like having the oil changed and other maintenance issues done at Walmart! You can shop while they work. 2 birds, 1 stone and all! :)
The upside to changing oil at Walmart, is I can go shopping in the meantime
