Create a Pear for Donations and Receive $50 from Johnsonville!

Our family has been affected by Cancer over the last few years. Last summer we lost Kevin’s mom to complications of an aggressive thyroid cancer and just a few weeks before he started fighting his own battle with the same disease. Thankfully, he has since recovered and is doing great. I know that many others however are not so fortunate, and we would like to support those battling this ruthless disease.

We have always supported St. Jude and we plan on continuing that tradition, but for my Pear, we have decided to support the American Cancer Society since it helps a broader group of people at all ages. Please consider supporting Cancer Crushers.

PearUp.com is great a website for raising funds, whether it’s for a charity or an event. If your sports team needs t-shirts, you can create a Pear. If you’re looking for food donations for an event, you can also create a Pear. The options are endless. Through the Johnsonville apparel and charity sponsorship on

Johnsonville Sponsorship Program
If you are in the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh or Baltimore areas, your social network can help raise $1,000 or more toward custom apparel or charity donation! How? By getting sponsored by Johnsonville on Pear! Not a part of a group but your child is? You still qualify! To get started, create a sponsorship page on Pear & invite friends to join in. The more people who join, the more money your group can earn toward apparel and merchandise!

  • Qualifying groups/Group type(s): School (K-12) group or event, Sports team, league or event (non-school), Not-for-profit or cause-based group or event, All other types of group or event, College group or event. Basically any group that is comprised of mostly females and/or would be supported by a female
  • Family reunion groups may qualify to receive a ‘gift’ from Johnsonville at the completion of their Pears.

I would like to raise money for cancer research. Almost everyone has been affected directly or has a friend that has suffered from Cancer.

Interesting idea here. I like charities that go outside the box for fund raising.

I’ve never heard of Pear before, but it sounds like a great way to either help others, or get help for yourself. And kudos to Johnsonville for being so awesome!

Cancer is very close to me, as well, even though it was a scare but it was painful and paralyzing to say the least. What a great project PearUp is!

Cancer has touched my family as well so I try and donate as much as I can to these organizations. I’ve never heard of Pearup but will check it out as well.
