Emma is such a girlie girl. She has loved toting around dolls ever since she could take her first steps, and now that she’s a bit older, Barbies are her new doll of choice.
These are the new Barbie dolls inspired by the new Barbie Princess Charm School DVD. I knew Emma would love the concept of a Barbie Charm School Party.
So I set the table all fancy-like and invited a few of Emma’s best friends over for “charm school”.
We ate some yummy finger foods for breakfast.
And let them burn their energy before we started class.
The kids loved the glitter crowns we received to go along with the theme. Emma had her pink crown on briefly – it looked adorable with her princess dress.
Then it was time for school. We discussed the manners checklist and we added to it, discussing table manners and such since we were at the dinner table.
We watched the new Barbie Princess Charm School DVD and Emma was glued to the television. We’re working on teaching her to keep a good distance between her and the tv, but when she’s really into something that can be a challenge.
At the end of the party, each of the children received a copy of the manners checklist and their very own Barbie Charm School Completion Certificates. What a fun play date!
Disclosure: We received a Barbie Princess Charm School party kit from One2One Network.
