Oriental Trading: A Great Resource for Party and Craft Supplies {Giveaway}

By Heather

Oriental Trading Company logo new copy

When it comes to party planning, we all have our favorite go-tos whether it’s a caterer, a clown or a bakery. I’d much rather put more money into the food and entertainment than the decorations, so my first stop for party supplies is always Oriental Trading. That’s where I purchased the party favors for Ryan’s A Very Hungry Caterpillar party.

Since swirly lollipops were a part of the book by Eric Carle, it was only natural to hand them out as favors. I looked everywhere, and considered buying gourmet, but then I saw 3″ swirl pops sold in packs of 12 at Oriental Trading for only $6.25. What a deal! Several pops arrived broken but I called customer service – and got a live person on the other end who offered to rush a reshipment of the order so that I’d receive it in time for the party. I was very impressed with their responsiveness.

A few days before I received this order, a large box arrived at my door. I started to go through it and thought there must have been a mixup. There were lots of fun things inside, but his isn’t what I ordered… Just when I was about to give them a ring, I opened the letter inside and realized that I was accepted as an Oriental Trading blogger!

Inside the box, there were a ton of fun goodies which the letter told me where some of their most popular items as well as two Mother’s Day and two Father’s Day crafts. Yesterday we had some fun at the craft table. We made Mother’s Day clothespin note holders and some gifts for daddy including a foam picture frame.

We also received blank cards and envelopes, cardstock, foam stickers, buttons and paper bags – great items for crafting and gift making!

orientalGiveaway: Oriental Trading also sent me a $25 gift card and I would like to give it away to one of you!

Oriental Trading provided the samples and gift card. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
