Back in 2009, I discovered a line of affordable pure mineral makeup called Orglamix.  The eyeshadows I tried were like nothing I was used to using – they were far superior.  And when I learned that Cheri had mixed them in her humble attic lab, I was even more amazed.

It’s easy for moms to forget about themselves when they’re doing less-than-glamorous daily tasks such as wiping snot-noses, changing dirty diapers and scrubbing crayon off of the walls.  I know I skip makeup often, even forgoing it on the weekends.

But I noticed that when I take a few minutes to get pretty, I feel more confident and in turn have a more positive day.  And when I’m feeling good, I’m a better mom.  So one of my goals going forward is to spend that few extra minutes on my look – not every single day – but a few days per week, for a more confident me.

I received the medium kit, for skin tones like Jennifer Aniston, Lauren Conrad, Megan Fox and me.  I’m pretty loyal to liquid foundation, so I wasn’t so sure about a powder mineral foundation but I was pleasantly surprised.  The Orglamix foundations are not like your typical powders, they provide excellent coverage and stay put.

The Beauty-On-The-Go Brush Kit includes a lip/eyeliner brush, eyeshadow smudge brush, powder/blush brush, angled brow/liner brush, eyeshadow blending brush, and a concealer brush.  I very impressed with the softness of the bristles and the quality of this set.  Plus, it’s the perfect size for traveling or your purse.
