It’s been a long time since I regularly wore sneakers.  Mainly because I haven’t found them comfortable in so long.  No matter what style or brand I tried, my feet would ache after a busy day.  But the the thing is, not much else looks good with my mom uniform of sweat suits and yoga pants.  Plus, I’ve been wanting to try a pair of the muscle-toning shoes that are all the rage right now.  So I’ve been looking to get me a new pair of sneakers.

When I saw the Joy Mangano Performance Platforms™ Get Fit™ Sneakers on HSN, I knew these would be a good fit, pardon the pun.

First, they didn’t look like they’d be hard to wear.  They’re not insanely shaped like some other toning sneakers I’ve seen.  These are actually wearable, and no one can tell that they’re special but they most certainly are.

My first impression when taking the sneakers out of the box is that they felt rather heavy to lift.  But when I put them on my feet, this wasn’t as noticeable.  Wearing the Get Fit™ Sneakers, it feels like my sneakers have shocks.  That’s the best analogy I can think of to describe it.  You literally get a spring in your step thanks to the Jumptec foam footbed.

They’re available in Black, Beige, White and Grey and in both laceless and laced styles.  Lots of choices and a great value.
