It’s been a few years since I stepped foot in a gym.  The reality of it is, I live too far away for a membership to make sense.  Working out at home is the only option for me, but it’s harder to get motivated when you don’t have all of the options in front of you.  There’s one piece of equipment I used to use almost every day faithfully – the recumbent exercise bike.

The seat is adjustable, and there is even a basket underneath.  For now I am keeping the manual there while I learn all that this machine can do, but it’s also great for holding your towel and books or magazines.  The built-in fan will help cool me off while I’m trying to not focus on my workout.  When I want to monitor my heart rate, I just place my grip on the sensors incorporated into the handles.
