So far during this “New Year, New You” event, I’ve shared many great products to help moms and dads achieve health and fitness goals, but what about the kids? It’s important to not only fill them up with nutritious foods, but it’s also crucial that we make sure they’re getting adequate exercise.
In the winter, that’s not an easy thing to do. The cold air literally stops us in our tracks, and we basically hibernate. While I can go downstairs and walk on the treadmill, there really isn’t anything active that Emma can do indoors.
The Folding Trampoline from Magic Cabin has changed that. Finally, she has an outlet for all that energy and she gets a lot of use out of it because it’s fun! It’s the first thing she runs to in the morning and she returns to it throughout the day, and she loves the extra attention she gets when she jumps and bounces in the air.
The handles are great, and we do not allow Emma to bounce unless she’s holding onto them. There is lightly padded protective cover that helps prevent little feet from getting stuck in the bungee cord holes. The cover attaches by velcro, but unfortunately the cover we received had to soft ends on one corner so it won’t hold together. I am going to call customer service and see if they can send us another cover, as right now it’s being held on with packing tape.
Assembly took some time, as everything had to be put together. My husband assembled the frame and then I tried to help wrap the bungee around it and the mesh base but I became too frustrated and had to walk away. Daddy gets the credit for this one.
If you’re short on space, the legs fold and then you can detach the handle. That’s a really nice feature, and I also love that the trampoline is waterproof and can be used indoors or out.
Emma’s cousin was over this weekend and they both loved this trampoline. They even bounced together, and fought over it at times too.
The Folding Trampoline is now on sale at Magic Cabin, for $79.98, down from $99.99 – more than $20 off!
