Are you getting tired of reading about our ailments each week? Me too – I am sick of seeing my daughter suffer and then getting it myself. Once again, we were at odds with something. This time, the stomach flu. Emma had it really bad for an entire week and it was just awful. She was in a lot of pain and barely ate or drank. Thankfully, I did not contract this virus, but it did skew my focus on my weight-loss and fitness goals.
I wanted to work out last week. I wanted to take the next step of my journey. Even if I didn’t earn that Nutri-bear, I know that’s the step that’s required in order to take this to the next level. But I did what moms do – we put ourselves on the backburner when our kids needs us.
While I continued to enjoy the delicious Nutrisystem food that the plan offers, I didn’t eat the right add-ins or drink all of my waters. It was an exhausting week.
But something positive came of this week also. I discovered a new favorite for dinner.
I can’t wait to order more BBQ Sauce over Beef, Beans and Rice. It is dee-lish! There are so many wonderful meals on the Nutrisystem plan.
That’s my recap. I wish I had better news to share, but now that my baby is all healthy, it’s time to focus on my goals.
The scale says: –0 lbs.
Total loss: –8.5 lbs.
I didn’t lose a thing, but I didn’t gain either. This week I’ll be hitting the treadmill hard now that I can devote my time and energy to it.
I’d love you to join Nutrisystem right along with me. Today is the last day to join at 2003 prices and get a free week of food! Follow the link or call 1-888-853-4689.
By participating in the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program I am being provided with the program and food at no cost to me.

I think I’d love that particular entree too! A week without a gain is still a win!

You are doing great! Just be sure to take your measurements, as you may be losing inches and gaining muscle — even if the scale doesn’t move.

Seriously, you guys and the illnesses over there. So glad to hear that Emma is doing better and that at least you didn’t catch it, too! Today is another day and this is another week, I’m sure you’ll do great!
