It’s been four weeks since I committed myself to a healthier lifestyle. The food on the Nutrisystem plan has exceeded my expectations. Even my husband and daughter have tried a few things and were pleasantly surprised.
In last week’s post I told you about the new buttered popcorn that I couldn’t wait to try, and let me tell you it was beyond yummy. Despite all of the great snacks and desserts I had enjoyed up to that point, it was the one thing that I really yearned for. In my next order, the snack section will consist of 90% popcorn, 10% chocolate.
If you’re thinking of joining me on my journey, now is the time. Nutrisystem is running a brand new rollback promotion where you can be on the plan at 2003 prices. That means you’ll eat for about $9 per day including breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert shipped straight to your door! HOORAY for that.
This week I faced a few challenges. For one, we attended a birthday gathering where pizza was on the menu. Then I indulged just a little bit more at the after-party. But I offset my slip-ups by working out using this and this, so I felt pretty good about getting on the scale this morning, and…
The scale says: no change again – it’s stuck!
Total loss: -5.5 lbs.
Again, no loss. Nope, the scale isn’t really broken. I won’t lie and say that I am not discouraged because I am. I’m also disappointed in myself. Nutrisystem is great, but it’s up to me to make it work, and that’s still a challenge even with their amazing support system and yummy food.
I’d love you to join the Nutrisystem Nation right along with me. Follow the link or call 1-888-853-4689.
By participating in the Nutrisystem Nation Blogger Program I am being provided with the program and food at no cost to me.
Girl do not be discouraged! You are doing great. The challenges you are facing are the same ones I am . It definitely isn’t easy, but don’t beat yourself up. I try to remind myself on those days that you are beautiful because of what’s on the inside, not the out:) I know you well enough to know you are for sure beautiful on the inside. Hang in there and keep up the good work.
You’re on a plateau, but it’s gonna happen! You can do it!
oh mama– you are doing great!!!
5.5 is an amazing accomplishment. And it’s 5.5 pounds– think about that– that was Emma when I brought her home from the hospital– you lost her!! That’s a lot!!
Or have you ever picked up 5 lbs of potatoes? It’s heavy!
You are officially 5.5 pounds of potatoes lighter…..
Plus I look at it like this: If I don’t lose a pound a week, but I am exercising, that is still healthy for my body– it’s something 6 months ago I was not doing– so it’s a step in the right direction!
You are doing great lady!!
Weren’t you the one just telling me to not beat myself up about not losing a ton all the time? :) It’s so dang easy to eat and put the weight on but when it comes to taking it off, it’s frustrating for pretty much anyone. I think you’re still doing great, just keep on taking things a day at a time!
It’s okay Heather! Just stay positive and remember we’re hear for you. 5.5 lbs lost in 4 weeks is great, as on Nutrisystem you can expect to lose 1 – 2 lbs a week.
This past week is over, so let’s look forward to the next week — Hooray You!
Hugs
