Nutella: The 30 Best Recipes Book Review and Giveaway

By Jennifer

If you’ve ever tried Nutella, you’re probably thinking like I did – “Why do I need a cookbook? I just eat that yummy, goodness with a spoon!” (ok, maybe not everyone eats it with a spoon like me, don’t judge).  Well, trust me.  The recipes are amazing so check this out!

Nutella is perhaps the world’s most famous chocolate and hazelnut spread. Sweet and rich, it is divine on toast for breakfast, in a peanut butter sandwich for lunch, and as a topping to a favorite dessert. But Nutella, surprisingly versatile and easy to work with, can do even more than most realize. The new book NUTELLA explores new ways of using, baking with and enjoying Nutella with 30 mouth-watering recipes.

Some of delectable recipes include:

  • Nutella and Orange
  • Nutella Whoopie Pies
  • Nutella Soufflés
  • Nutella Mousse
  • Nutella Mini Swiss Rolls
  • Nutella Twelfth Night Tart
  • Nutella Charlotte
  • Mango and Nutella Spring Rolls

The book is whimsically trimmed and bound in the shape of a jar of Nutella and is divided into sections such as little Nutella treats and Nutella for sharing that make it easy to find the perfect Nutella recipe for any occasion. Better yet, each recipe is accompanied by a gorgeous full-color photograph making the book even more mouth-watering and irresistible.

I’ve been super busy recently with work and home, but I had guests last weekend and wanted to whip together for a brunch that I know the adults and toddlers would both love.  I made the Mini Nutella Croissants.  I never would have thought of something so simple yet SO delicious!

Oops, forgot to take a pic of the finished product, but trust me that they looked just like the pic in the book.  We were too busy EATING THEM IMMEDIATELY to take the pic.

The recipe reminds me of Heather’s Nutella banana croissants. Go run out and buy this book. And a jar of Nutella. Currently on Amazon for $10.26.
