Norm of the North Giveaway

By Heather

This post was sponsored by Lionsgate as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central.

NormOfTheNorth

Last Friday, after a long and busy week all we wanted to do was relax around the house and have a boring night at home. Our weekends are always full and just as busy as our week days. However an opportunity arose that we couldn’t refuse when a friend offered up his tickets to a Devils game. This doesn’t happen every day so we decided to seize the moment.

This night would involve 3 hours of driving and wrangling two children in a busy arena. It doesn’t sound like much fun, does it? But sometimes when you step out of your comfort zone great things happen. We made memories and now the kids have an appreciation for and knowledge of hockey as a sport. Our goal as parents is to expose our children to as many new experiences as possible, which is why we’re always so busy.

Norm of the North

We should all be able to relate to Norm of the new movie, North of the North. In the film Norm faces an overwhelming challenge when he sees that his home is being taken over by developers. In an effort to save the Artic, he embarks on an adventure to New York City to help stop the madness once and for all. He can’t do any of this without first stepping out of his comfort zone.

It’s an exciting tale that my kids are eager to experience when we finally get to see the movie when it’s released on January 15th. Children face many challenges while finding their way into adulthood. Things like missing the school busThese challenges may seem insignificant to adults, but these are the very experiences that will shape them into young adults. We must encourage our children to find their way by being fearless enough to face their challenges head on.

Enter to win one of 5 $100 Fandango gift cards to purchase tickets to see Norm of the North in theaters. I-C will randomly select 5 winners from all program entries and will handle fulfillment of the winning prizes.

Can’t wait to go see this with my son! Awesome giveaway. Going to the movie theater can be a bit on the pricey side so whoever wins will be really happy!

This looks like a fun movie.
I will have to tell my niece about this; she loves cartoon movies!

Children’s movies with moral lessons in them are always a good choice to watch. I love that this movie teaches kids how to react positively to situations they may face. That is such a valuable lesson they can benefit from when they reach adulthood.

This sounds like a super fun movie. My twin granddaughters will love this.
