The moment I stepped into the baby store, it became real. I was there to register for the first time, and there was a product for everything. Overwhelming to put it simply. But it was also exciting too. There is something about baby products, and even better, the gear.
Even in these past three years, I’ve seen some great improvements in baby gear. Even if you’re not pregnant, I dare you to look at Maxi-Cosi’s newest collections – Piazzo and Leila, and not come down with a case of baby fever.
When I chose Emma’s system, I based my selection on price and color. I had never done this before, and had no idea what traits would be important or useful then. But now I do. And you know what? Color is still important to me – which is why I chose Leila. Not knowing yet if I’m having a boy or a girl, I liked the gender-neutral soft color of the Leila Collection. But that’s not all I love about the new collection.
Travel System
In just a few months, I’ll be doing this all over again, and I’m so excited that I’ll get to use the newest Cosi35 infant car seat and lightweight stroller, that make up the Leila Travel System.
The stroller is not only lightweight, but it also has a fully reclining seat and a smooth suspension system to ensure a relaxing ride for baby. Featuring luxury fabrics and conveniences for mom like a dishwasher-safe tray, one-touch brake system and one handed fold, this stroller will make my life easier for sure.
My favorite part of the travel system is the carrier. With Emma, I loved the convenience of going from the car to the stroller, to grandma’s house all while letting her sleep soundly. I wish I could still use one for her! The Cosi35 Car Seat carrier features head and body support for baby, a 5-point harness and even a bubble level indicator to ensure that the seat is safely balanced.
Play Yard
I remember the moment we brought Emma home from the hospital. She was a sleepy girl, and we immediately laid her down in her play yard bassinet. The Leila Play Yard also features the oh-so convenient bassinet as well as some other great features. It has a plush mobile featuring music and vibration, breathable mesh sides and I just adore the storage shelves. There is plenty of space for diapers and wipes, and I know we’ll get a lot of use out of this play yard with baby #2.
High Chair
The Leila High Chair is amazing. If it’s not wipeable, it’s washable, and it’s on wheels! Talk about convenienct. The high chair is designed to fit your child with 3 recline positions, 4 footrest positions, and 7 height positions. The feeding tray is also dishwasher safe which is beyond convenient.
I’m really impressed with the quality and conveniences built into the Leila gear by Maxi-Cosi and I cannot wait to put the gear to work.

Wheels on the high chair! Oh I am in love with those colours.
Very nice! The car seat looks like it has a lot of padding which is something I look for. I don’t want my baby to feel like their sitting on bricks.
