I eat greek yogurt almost daily. That mouth-puckering tang is my favorite side effect and it’s oh so good for you. I’ve had it as a meal and a any-time-of-day snack and never tire of it.
Emma would never even give it the chance, and if she did I’m sure she’d hate what I love about it. She is quite the picky eater and only in recent months began enjoying fruit flavored yogurts again as it is. She has her own favorite squeezable yogurt that she enjoys, but she’s never tried a greek variety.
When we were asked to try Stonyfield’s new YoKids Greek Yogurt, I jumped at the chance to try the first ever greek yogurt designed just for kids. And like the many other Stonyfield products we love it’s organic too. My grocery store had only the strawberry flavor. Since it’s so new, I was happy to find it at all so I snapped it up and brought it right home.
We served it with dinner that night, and as I expected, Emma was hesitant to give it a try. Once she did though, she exclaimed, “Mmm that’s like ice cream!” It doesn’t get any better than that, folks.
Now I’m on a mission to find the YoKids Squeezers – I don’t know a kid who’s not a fan of squeezable tubes of yummy yogurt.
In honor of the new product launch, Stonyfield has also announced its collaboration with the new film Dr. Seuss’ The Lorax which has a great message of caring for our environment. We liked the film so much that we just went back to see it for a second time yesterday. A Lorax-themed game, coupons, and a sweepstakes are now featured on the new YoKids website at www.yokidsyogurt.com.
