Every once in a while, I like to entertain all fancy-like. But most of the time, I’m lazy. And I love the fact that with Skinnygirl cocktails, I don’t have even have to get my shaker out. Because that would require me to clean it afterwards and I clean up after enough people around here.
I just had the chance to try two new ready-made drinks: Mojito and Sangria. Skinnygirl also sent the bare naked vodka which I’ve had before. The bare naked vodka works with so many drink recipes, but I tend to use it to make martinis.
I love opening Skinnygirl packages…my mommy candy. This particular package arrived the day we came home from vacation. We were already planning on having a few friends over so this excellent timing. We decided to start with the Skinnygirl Sangria and we polished that off quickly.
This Sangria wasn’t my favorite because I’m not a big fan of sweet wine and this was a bit too sweet for me. It isn’t a deep red or a typical white; it’s somewhere in the middle. It is made with a white wine base but I suppose what they add to make it a sangria is what affects the color.
The Skinnygirl Mojito was my favorite this time. So refreshing and tasty, you can’t tell that it’s a lightened recipe. The best part is it’s pour and serve nature. No work, just relax and enjoy!
While I love the pour and serve lifestyle, there are ways to dress up your Skinnygirl cocktails with these recipes.
Skinnygirl provided samples for consideration. All opinions are my own.

When I first started drinking wines and cocktails, I loved them sweet but over time, I’ve grown to prefer them on the drier side as well. I do love Skinnygirl though!

I have yet to try any of the skinny girl line. I tend to like sweeter wines and I love a good sangria is I might have to put this on my list to grab the next time I’m at the liquor store.
