I can’t believe how fast my little girl is growing up! She now dresses herself, sometimes she even matches, she will get herself out of the bathtub and get dressed for bedtime, and she has been brushing her teeth on her own for a few months now. It’s interesting to see the kids become more and more independent, and even more interesting to see how others are handling these new challenges as can be seen by this info graph below.
Did you know that toothbrushing is actually the second most popular task children are adamant about doing independently? How do you know if they’re doing it correctly?
Luckily, Philips Sonicare, the #1 dental professional-recommended power toothbrush brand, has just launched a solution that will make both parents and kids see compromise on daily independent tasks — the NEW Philips Sonicare For Kids power toothbrush for kids ages 4+! It includes innovative features like a KidTimer to ensure two minute brushing time and KidPacer to ensure kids are brushing their entire mouth, plus parents can rest easy knowing that their child is getting a dental-professional approved clean – as 91% of dental professionals would recommend Philips Sonicare for Kids for their own child.
Emma had be asking me for a toothbrush just like mommy’s and daddy’s just before I received an email from a representative for Sonicare. It was kismet.
What’s really cool (for the kids) about this new Philips Sonicare Kids brush is the interchangeable custom-cut stickers. Your child can customize it to fit his or her personality. The kit comes with a plate that you can apply the stickers to, or not. Forgo the stickers or remove the plate if your child wants a more grown up look. Emma went with the surfing dude. She was so excited for the first brush!
I’m totally jealous that her brush head came with a little cover. I want one of those for my brush! We will never go back to using a regular toothbrush now that we use powered ones. There is no comparison when it comes to getting good clean teeth and gums.

My kids don’t love brushing, so maybe getting them each one of these would be helpful.
