Over the past several years I have really started to sit back and take stock of what we put in and on our bodies. We buy organic whenever possible and I’ve also started making my own DIY cleaning products in an effort to diminish the amount of chemicals we are exposed to. However, it only makes sense for me to make my own as long as it meets my two requirements. I don’t do complicated so it must be easy, and secondly it has to be effective.
The new to market Tide purclean™ is the perfect marriage between natural ingredients and reliable performance. It’s the very first laundry detergent from the makers of Tide made using 65% bio-based ingredients.
If you care about the environment you live in (and who doesn’t?) you will be pleased to know that Tide purclean™ is made at a zero manufacturing waste to landfill site and it is also made using made with 100% renewable electricity.
Yesterday while the kids were in Vacation Bible School, I went over to Target to find the new detergent. They happened to be waiting for me right on the end cap of the laundry aisle.
Currently, there are several promotions available on Tide purclean™. If you know me, you know that I love a good deal so I was excited to take advantage of the offers. There are also $1.00 off neckhanger coupons that you should be able to find at your store; unfortunately I wasn’t able to locate them. Target is also offering a $10 gift card when you purchase four bottles of Tide purclean™. Hopefully others will have better luck with stacking the three purchasing promotions.
After my Target shopping spree, I was ready to put this new USDA BioPreferred Program certified detergent to the test. It’s responsibly made, but will it work as well as the regular Tide detergent? I had to find out for myself and as it turns out, it worked remarkably well. Especially when used to pretreat stains which we are always battling around here.
Tide purclean™ features a lovely honey lavendar scent. It will work in traditional or high efficiency laundry machines and can be found at Target stores nationwide.

I had no idea this was available from Tide. My husband and son have such sensitive skin. This would be perfect for them.

I think that any parent is concerned about the chemicals that they expose their family to when they bring detergent into the house. It’s wonderful to see that Tide has come up with a safe alternative.

I love that this variant of Tide is environment friendly. We have to be careful in choosing products to use at home, the ones that do not have harmful chemicals or additives.
