Non-animated family films can be hard to come by, so when I saw that the iconic Nancy Drew was being brought to life in a new film, I knew we had to check it out.
Executive Produced by Ellen DeGeneres, the film stars Sophia Lillis (IT and “Sharp Objects”), Sam Trammell (“True Blood” and “This is Us”), and Linda Lavin (“The Good Wife” and “Alice”) and follows Nancy Drew in her new town, making new friends and on a mission to solve the case!
We watched over the weekend and found it to be wholesome without being corny. It was fresh and fun and got two thumbs up from my ten-year-old, “I love this movie!”
