For the longest time, I depended on my big stroller system to keep Emma contained while I shopped and walked. I briefly considered taking it with us to Disney World, before we discovered our very convenient umbrella stroller. It made our life easy during this trip, since it was so light and folded/unfolded in a snap.
Much different from the big travel system stroller. It’s heavy and takes up a lot of space in the back of our SUV. I rarely use it anymore, but that being said there are a few features it lacks that pertain to both comfort and storage that I don’t have with the other. A few My Monkey Moo products help us to bridge the gap between our two strollers.
#1 – Stroller Pads
My Monkey Moo makes stroller pads that will fit most 5-point harness strollers, including Bugaboo, Mountain Buggy, UPPAbaby, Phil & Ted’s, and the Maclaren I have. It comes in a variety of fun patterns to liven up up your existing stroller while also adding the comfort padding that umbrella strollers lack.
It’s reversible with one side for summer, the other for warmth in the winter. Plus, it’s washable.
I had a bit of a problem getting the buckle off of the harness however there are slots through which you can pull through so that the pad doesn’t affect your use of it.
#2 – Monkey Buckets
It can be difficult to access the storage area of our stroller when it’s fully reclined. I love using the Monkey Buckets as a toy/cell phone/sunscreen whatever holder so that I can easily get to those things that I’d normally have at my fingertips when I’m using the “big stroller”.
#3 – Stroller Blankets
The stroller blankets are great not only for providing warmth. Since we’re heading into summer right now, we’ll occasionally use the blanket, but it’s also great as a picnic blanket, changing pad, or just for providing your child with more shade.
Like I mentioned before, the patterns are fun and lively. Even better, you can have all of your Monkey Moo products match. I chose the Socialite Stripe pattern and I think it goes really well with our red stroller.
BUY IT! My Monkey Moo stroller pads are $69, the blankets $64, and the Monkey Buckets are $29.
