We received complimentary admission in order to facilitate our review.

We are season pass holders to a big New Jersey amusement park and water park, both of which we enjoy but nothing beats amusements right by the sea. Summer is not complete without at least one trip to Wildwood’s Morey’s Piers and we were able to squeeze in a quick day trip last week.
We started at Raging Waters and enjoyed the slides, lazy river and hot tub before heading over to the rides on the same pier. Passes will give you access to both water parks and the rides at all three piers but you can also buy tickets to use at the rides separately. We didn’t have the energy to do all that walking so we just stuck with the one pier.
It was a hot one, and someone convinced me to drive the Seagull Cycle. If you want a test to see how out of shape you are, this is it!

Here are a few tips we’ve learned after visiting several years in a row. (You can read about our past experiences here and here.)
Arrive early for the best parking
We usually park in a lot but some of the lots really squeeze you in not to mention the full sun. We were able to find a nice shady spot on the street. We paid $2/hour by meter.
Bring your own food and beverages
We had not idea this was an option but we saw a family roll up to the picnic table with a full cooler. We could’ve saved some cash by doing this, especially since we passed right by Wawa on the way in.
Leave valuables behind
If you can, carry your phone, cash and car key in one of those waterproof bags that you can bring along with you. If that’s not possible, you can rent one of the lockers. We did a small one for $15 you get $5 back after returning the key).
Take advantage of a great deal
Morey’s Piers is celebrating with a 72 hour water park flash sale! All day water park wristbands to both Raging Waters and Ocean Oasis are just $39.99 and includes a limited edition 50th anniversary souvenir bottle for free.* The sale is on from now until Friday, August 9 at noon.
