We always knew our little girl was a princess, and now she really looks like one. When I was looking through the Disney costumes at Costume Discounters, I came across Cinderella. This would have been a great ensemble to bring along on our trip to Walt Disney World earlier this year; especially for our breakfast with the princesses in Epcot.
This normally wouldn’t be the Halloween costume I’d choose for Emma, since it gets pretty cold here in New Jersey by the time October 31st rolls around. But since she’s become rather entranced with all things Disney and princess after the time we spent in Magic Kingdom, I thought this would be great for dress-up play.
Boy, was I right about that. After we got the costume on, Emma took a few elegant spins. Instant princess! She absolutely loved the tiara and the fingerless gloves. It’s such an adorable costume, but what’s more is it makes my little girl feel like the princess she already is.
I was impressed that so many accessories were included, too. It can be disappointing when you go by the photo on the packaging when browsing through a costume store only to realize when you arrive home that all of the extras are missing. The little details are what make Halloween costumes complete.
The Princess Cinderella Toddler Costume comes with the satin dress with beading and delicate overlays, the white glovelets, a tiara, and a satin ribbon choker, all for under $30.00. The choker was too big for her (it actually fits my neck), so we went without it.
Now that I see how this falls her, she will totally be able to wear this over pants. She’ll still be nice and warm trick or treating around the neighborhood this year. All she needs are glass slippers, and her Prince Charming of course.
