When did you start your craft?
I have been sewing since I was very young, 6 or 7. I don’t really remember NOT sewing :) When I was bored, my mother would send me down to the basement to look through magazines for something to make – and I would! When I was in 8th grade, I crocheted my graduation dress, my mom didn’t know that I knew how to crochet! I studied costume design in college and designed costumes for the stage. When my son was born, I started making children’s clothing – and I haven’t stopped yet :)
Do you have any other hobbies?
Well, I have a pretty full life, but I love to run in the mission near my house. It is beautiful, peaceful and I get some of my best thinking done there.
Maria sent Emma a pair of Lavendar Booties and matching Reversible Hat. The booties have ultrasuede bottoms and elastic around the back so you’re able to get a few more months of use as your child grows.
