It’s hard to believe we have been in quarantine for ten weeks. I think we’ve gotten so used to being cooped up that somehow it doesn’t seem as though it’s been that long and yet here we are heading into Memorial Day weekend. I hope you are able to relax and enjoy beautiful weather wherever you are this weekend and take the time to remember and thank our fallen soldiers.
We’ve been taking this time to do Spring cleanup and tidy closets. It has also been nice to have more family time. We are doing a lot of puzzles and playing games around here. It’s a good way to reconnect as a family. Below are a few new finds we have been helpful in this new reality we are living.
INOX Men's Jewelry
My husband was impressed with the INOX Men's Stainless Steel 8mm Matte Beveled Band Ring. After he lost his wedding ring, he wanted a lookalike that wouldn't break the bank. Available in sizes 9-12. Their jewelry would be a lovely gift for Father's Day. $40; Buy it here
At a time when reducing disease, bacteria and viruses is more important than ever, this kit plays an impactful role and it’s supporting first responders and medical professionals in the process. This compact, all-in-one pack provides the four most essential items needed when using an inadequate or unsanitary restroom to protect against germs and harmful bacteria. Each kit contains a patented oversize seat cover with rear pocket to support stability and alignment, 1 yard of 3 ply toilet paper, hand wipe and flushable tush wipe. $11 for a 3 pack; Buy it here
Bee K'onscious Honey
We love this Montana Clover raw honey. Many consider clover honey to be the standard by which all other honeys are measured. The mild, sweet flavor like a sugary treat with hints of cinnamon and vanilla makes this a top favorite. $18; Buy it here
Betcha Can't Game
In this game of bets and brags, players bet on how many things they THINK they know. Think you can name the most ice cream flavors? Be prepared to prove yourself if you get the "betcha can't!"
Answer correctly and win the card! But if you lose - you're going to Time Out! Be the first player to collect five cards to be named the Better Bettor! This game was invented by young teens - how cool is that?! $15; Buy it here
Word Search game
In Wordsearch, the race is on to find hidden words with this exciting version of the classic hidden word puzzle where every player participates in every turn. It's fun for the whole family and educational with more than 460 words to search for in 16 different puzzles. It's a 2-4 player game for ages 7 and up. $22; Buy it here
Boost your immune system with this delicious vibrant Super-tea which has high levels of potent antioxidants and delicate flavoring. Our Kenyan Unsweetened Purple Tea has a light body, with notes of pomegranate and hibiscus and just a touch of organic cane sugar. $22; Buy it here
Since we can't visit nail salons right now, we've been doing at-home manis and pedis. We love SOPHi polish (made by Piggy Paint!) because it's free of harsh chemicals. Their polish leaves nails healthy and doesn’t cause them to yellow or become brittle. I know it's almost summer but we love their Sweater Weather collection neutrals: Eiffel of Love, French Latte, Mi Amore, Lost in London. $28; Buy it here

It is nice. I do hope everyone has a wonderful, long holiday weekend. The break is nice. Working at home can take far more time than working at a typical job.
