Marbles The Brain Store Review & Giveaway!

By Jennifer

Samples received for consideration.

Marbles The Brain Store is a specialty store with unique, challenging games and activities to help build better brains, for both adults and kids. They have 29 locations around the country as well as an amazing online store.  My favorite part of their online store is that the games are organized by age and lots of smart categories (Science & Nature; Fidget Games; Word Games, etc).

Newcomer Sock Puppet Charades is a classic game of charades but with sock puppets and small props. This imagination-bending game will have your family howling with laughter, while engaging social intelligence, manual coordination, and creativity.

The box says 8+ but my six year old loved playing and acting out action items on the cards.  It’s a really good fun family game that gets the creative juices flowing and everyone moving around.

In Tugie, players take turns rolling the die to see which color piece you need to tug from the Tugie Tower. But be careful! If any pieces fall while you tug, you must keep them and they count as points against you. The player with the least amount of fallen pieces at the end of the game wins. This is a game of balance and precision that will help develop fine motor coordination.

This one is fun for the kids, and reminds me a lot of Jenga. Definitely teaches coordination, colors and is super fun.

I always find it hard to buy new games for kids that they’ll actually play with.  A big clue when searching for games is checking out winners of awards – to me it means it is parent/kids tested and approved!  Impressively, Tugie is a Parents’ Choice Gold Award Winner and Sock Puppet Charades is a Parents’ Choice “Fun Stuff” Award Winner!  Be sure to check out Marbles the Brain Store online and find some fun new games for you and your family.

Giveaway!
One lucky winner will receive the Sock Puppet Charades or the Tugie!
