They look like regular sandals/flip flops to me in truly fun colors, and the materials really do look like a soft foam/yoga mat. The straps are also made of a soft material.
The soles are SO comfy. You can tell by this picture that they have a good amount of thickness and a rigged bottom – so while they’re soft, they’re also sturdy:
I wasn’t sure I would be able to walk around with such a soft-sole, but they really are resilient and feels like it forms around your feet – I have been taking my nightly family walks with them on since it’s so hot out and my feet/toes do not hurt at all (which was a surprise)!

Do these hold up nicely in rain? Here I get no grip or they fall apart in monsoon. Heavy duty is a necessity.
They seem to be pretty heavy-duty so far! I haven’t been out with them in the rain but I have been wearing them constantly!
