Emma is such a helpful little girl. Whenever she sees me cleaning, cooking, or gardening, she wants to assist me. I try to find little ways to let her “help” that she can easily handle. But that’s not always easy. Like when she wants to vacuum or mop.
When we went out to Lancaster a few weeks ago, Emma spotted a broom in a country store and went to town. It was just her size and she loved sweeping the floor of the store. And she didn’t even ask for anything in return :).
The Child’s Cleaning Set from Magic Cabin is perfect for my little helper, as it provides her with all of the tools she needs to get the job done. It’s an heirloom quality wooden set and was so easy to put together. Yep. Emma even “helped” with that too as you see in the first photo! A few minutes after assembly, it was time to get the cleaning part underway.
I love this set because she’s not only learning how to use the tools I use, but it also gives her a sense of accomplishment and teaches responsibility. She even puts her tools back when she’s done!
