From May through September, I live in sandals. Most of the time I wear flip flops, but never anything with a closed toe. Nothing says easy, stress free living like America’s favorite summer shoe. Perhaps that’s why the majority of the shoes in my closet have always been sandals and flip flops.
After perusing the selection of Okabashi footwear, I decided on the Splash sandals in black. They were just what I was looking for, a simple yet stylish thong shoe that would go with practically any summer outfit.
What I didn’t expect was that this pair would replace all of my other summer sandals. Even the ones I recently purchased from a very popular and very expensive shoe manufacturer. Proof that price is not always an indication of quality.
At under $20.00, I anticipated that the Splash sandals would be plain jane, but they proved to be anything but. The signature Microplast material is anti-microbial, anti-slip, anti-odor and vegan-friendly. And get this – they are even dishwasher safe!
They are extremely comfortable due to the massaging insole, ergonomic foot-bed and superior arch support that are all a part of this shoe. I’ve never worn a shoe that felt like it was made for me. That’s the best way I can describe the fit and comfort of this sandal. The small wedge heel adds just a touch of height without sacrificing comfort. I can wear these all day long and I have.
