When I was registering for baby gear, my main focus was a stroller system that included the carriage and baby carrier. It served us well for the first two years of Emma’s life, but now it’s just a bit too much stroller for me. I drive a roomy SUV and it takes up the whole back end, leaving little room for anything else.
At this stage we needed something compact, lightweight and easy. But at the same time, there were features that I didn’t want to sacrifice. Features like a reclining seat, a hood to shield Emma from sun/rain, and a storage basket. The Maclaren Triumph buggy met these requirements, and offered more features than I knew I even wanted but now can’t imagine strolling without. Even my husband, who is largely unimpressed by most of the products I rave about, was blown away by Maclaren.
There is really no reason to rent a stroller for our trip to Disney World. The Triumph folds neatly and weighs just over 11 pounds. It’ll be so convenient and useful from the airport, into the plane and through the parks (and the monorail).
What I love most of all is the ease of operation. I can maneuver this stroller with one hand effortlessly, and the brakes are foot-activated. As I used each mechanism, I noticed the attention to detail. The handles are cushy-soft, and the hood has sturdy locks that snap into place to keep it in position.
Emma actually asks to sit in this stroller, she loves it that much. But being the loving generous “mommy” that she is, she even shares with Elmo.
I highly recommend this stroller for anyone looking for a high-quality compact stroller. You won’t be disappointed with this one. Certainly no one in our house is.

I love the fact that they offer a raincover. Of course, I would have to have the stroller first, but a Maclaren raincover would be nice!
