What is love? At 2, my daughter is way too young to answer such a complex question, and in fact, I’m sure many adults would struggle with the answer. But I haven’t any doubt that she knows what love is.
She knows that she is loved, and her dad and I are lucky enough to receive it from her in return. In every little way. Like when she cheers for us when we arrive home, when she gives us big bear hugs and when she sits us down for a meal in her pretend play kitchen. Love is caring, sharing, expressing.
Which is why Valentine’s Day Cards are such a lovely sentiment. They illustrate the warm feelings you have for friends and family members – even when you (or your kids) aren’t quite sure how to put it into words.
How would your kids define love?

I especially love giving Valentines to kids. They get such a kick out of it!
