Looking 10 Pounds Slimmer in Cupid Intimates Shapewear (Review + Giveaway)

I’ve embarked on another weight-loss journey, and it’s going very well.  I feel more fit and in control of my life and my health.  I’m eating more whole foods than I probably ever have. But sometimes what we’re feeling on the inside doesn’t quite match what we look like on the outside.  I’m one of those people who get discouraged when the change I want doesn’t happen quickly enough.

Yesterday I saw the quote above and it really hit home for me.  Any kind of success doesn’t happen over night, and this is no different.

I have a few girdles in my lingerie drawer, always shying away from a camisole style for fear that the – for lack of a better term – excess fat would be smoothed down to where the cami ends.   But the weather is now really warm and I have no desire to wear a one-piece style underneath my clothing.  I figured I’d give the Miraclesuit® Real Smooth® Camisole a shot, thinking if anyone can make this happen, Miraclesuit® can.

I’m happy to report that it did not disappoint. It features thicker straps for extra comfort at the shoulders, and it is worn in place of a bra which is my favorite part.  I have yet to find another well-fitting undergarment that is also a twofer.   And in the summertime, the ability to shed a layer is a godsend.  The style I chose has an underwire, but there is also a wireless version.

It is a slight challenge getting it on – there are no zippers or clasps.  But if it was too easy to put on, it wouldn’t be very slimming, would it?  Dare I say, this cami makes for a pretty sexy piece of lingerie!

I’m obsessed with the Wonderful Edge® at the bottom which is really a gel-like material that keeps this camisole in place, and those pesky rolls from making an appearance.    The Naomi & Nicole panties I was sent features the appropriately-names wonderful edge as well.  After wearing them I see why it was recently mentioned in Good Housekeeping magazine.
