I love winter. Celebrating holidays, snow days, hot chocolate – the list goes on and on. If I had to say one thing I do NOT like about winter is how it wreaks havoc on my skin! Once the cold weather hits, I can immediately notice it in my hands. They are easily chapped/cracked so I start my nightly routine of slathering on the hand lotion. Yeah, I know I should probably do this all year round, and I sometimes do, but once winter hits it’s part of my nightly routine (along with going through my pile of magazines).
This year, I wanted to try something with extra-moisturizing power. I normally use L’Occitane Dry Skin Hand Cream which is amazing. I then realized that L’Occitane’s Ultra Rich Body Cream has even more shea butter (25% v. 20%) and was excited to give it a try.
I love all L’Occitane products, but this cream is amazing. It’s thick and goes on very creamy, but does not stay greasy on your hands. It has a nice, light smell, nothing overwhelming.
L’Occitane’s Ultra Rich Body Cream retails for $42 (for a 7 oz tub). I slather this on every night and I barely made a dent in this large tub so far – I think this will definitely last me through the winter. You can purchase online or at any of the L’Occitane boutiques.

For that price I would hope it lasts a good long time LOL.
It really does last – it definitely is way better than typical thin lotions, which I can normally run through in no time!
