Lipton Tea & Honey #FamilyTeaTime #Cbias

By Heather

We are less than 25 days away from Christmas, which also means we are about two weeks away from celebrating Emma’s birthday. The weekend after next, family and friends will gather to celebrate, and we have decided to go with a Tangled theme for the party, since it’s one of Emma’s favorite movies. And there are so many unique tie-ins that make for a fun day that will reflect the feel of the film.

One of which is to serve Golden Flower Punch to our guests during the party. Because of all of the other crazy details involved with this party, I wanted something easy. Then I was enlightened about Lipton Tea & Honey Pitcher Packets and I thought it was the perfect idea. Tea does have that golden color after all.

The other day we shopped for the goods.

When we found the pitcher packets, we couldn’t decide which of the four versions to buy, so we figured we’d just try ’em all. They won’t go to waste – we all love iced tea.

The Mango-Pineapple pitcher packets sounded delicious and from the packaging, appeared to have that golden color I was after. We want our guests to believe it has those same magical properties which gave Rapunzel that golden, healing hair. Now is the time to test the theory to see if we can make it work for the party. As you can see in the pitcher above, the tea is a bit more orange than I expected. So what I did is filled my glass half full with the tea, then topped it off with natural pineapple juice to complement the pineapple that the tea is infused with. It also helped in achieving that golden color I was after.

I think what I ended up creating will appeal to the children and the adults. It’s delicious and healthy to boot!
