Lily’s Sweets Chocolate Bar Review

By Jennifer

LILY'S SWEETS LOGO

I love hearing how companies got started, especially when it pulls at my heart strings.  Lily’s, makers of stevia-sweetened chocolate, has one of those stories. Cynthia and Chuck named Lily’s Sweets after Chuck’s niece, Lily, a childhood brain cancer survivor. Since being diagnosed at age 7, Lily has been raising money for other kids battling cancer, and Cynthia and Chuck honor Lily’s bravery and commitment to aiding others by contributing a percentage of profits each year to non-profit organizations that provide services to children with cancer and their families. As for Lily, she is now 13, has celebrated her 5-year anniversary of diagnosis and remains cancer-free and dedicated to helping others in need.

Not only is there a great story, Lily’s has a great product! With no added sugar, their line of milk and dark chocolate, as well as premium dark chocolate baking chips, are just as good as traditional chocolate yet have no sugar added! All of the company’s products are also Certified Fair Trade, non-GMO, and gluten-free.

I was thrilled to try out some of their milk and dark chocolate flavors:

Check them out online or at your local Whole Foods, Wegmans or other retailer nationwide.  $4.49 for each 3oz bar.
