Lemon Chicken with Barley #KnorrMealStarters

By Heather

Post sponsored by Mirum. Opinions are 100% my own.

Life is busy and while I love to cook delicious food for my family, we are extremely limited on time. By the time the kids get off the bus, we have to rush through school papers and homework and then I have to get cooking so that everyone is fed before we have to leave for this activity or that event. This hectic life is making me yearn for easy summer living.

With that said, I’m all for quick and easy meals without a laundry list of ingredients. The fewer pans the better, because you have to include cleanup time when meal planning – especially when you’ve got somewhere to go after dinner. Which is why I love one skillet meals. It’s such a time saver in regard to both cooking time and cleanup after dinner is done.

I love quick meal solutions, but that doesn’t mean I want to feed my family junk food. While shopping at Wegmans this week I discovered the perfect solution to my dinnertime woes: The new Knorr® One Skillet Meals. They feature responsibly sourced organic grains, no artificial colors nor flavors and when prepared are high in protein and contain at least 1/2 cup of vegetables per serving. I picked up the Lemon Chicken with Barley skilled meal. It was so easy to prepare, but it didn’t taste quick at all.

In order to make the recipe I had to also pick up a pound of chicken and 6 ounces of baby spinach. The rest is in the bag – a perfectly seasoned meal in waiting. Super simple, completely wholesome and my favorite way to cook.

You want to make this recipe too, don’t you? Before you head to Wegmans, make sure you take advantage of this special offer. Save $1.00 when you purchase any one Knorr® OSM from February 15th, 2018-March 1st, 2018. The in-store coupon will be valid until March 29th, 2018

I’ve never tried Knorr packages before but I love that it tells you exactly what to add. It even has a coupon that is great I always love a good deal. I’ll be looking for Knorr packages next time I am at the grocery store.

We love Knorr products! I need to check these out. While we don’t eat meat anymore, I’m sure we can figure out something to make them with!
