Gardening without Leaks: LeakFree watering system review

By Heather

LeakFree watering system review

I have a love/hate relationship with gardening. What I love is seeing my hard work pay off when my flowers or plants grow, especially when it’s time to harvest and collect the “fruits” of my labor. What I don’t like so much are the nuisances like ever-growing weeds, and tools that no longer work the way they should. One of those tools that wasn’t working anymore for me was my gardening hose and the spray nozzle. Then I received an email about the new LeakFree watering system by sister brands Gilmore and Nelson. Such great timing; I couldn’t wait to put it to the test.

The system includes a 50′ heavy duty hose, a faucet to hose connector and a spray nozzle, which when put together are guaranteed to be leak-free. The system is compatible only with other attachments, which I guess you could say is the only down side. But then again, it’s hard for a company to make a leak-free guarantee when using other accessories, so I don’t mind.

So far so good – no leaks! It remains to be seen if this kit will stand the test of time, but I have high hopes. The LeakFree starter kit retails for a suggested price of $59.99 and it’s available at Home Depot.

The LeakFree family also offers these innovative products that will work with the kit:

  • 75-foot and 100-foot heavy duty hoses
  • multi-pattern watering nozzle
  • oscillating sprinkler
  • impulse sprinkler
  • power jet wand

A sample was provided to facilitate this review. However all opinions and statements above are my own.
