LAMO Footwear for Spring and Summer

We had a few 90 degree days here in Jersey so far this Spring. I welcomed those hot days with open arms after the snowy winter we had. In the past week or so, the weather has cooled off significantly and it’s acting more like Spring in the Northeast. It’s not quite time for flip flops and sandals, but you won’t hear me complaining about that. I’m just happy that I can finally put away thewinter coats!

My only issue is trying to find the appropriate footwear. I tend to wear ballet flats but they can look odd with a more casual outfit, and I’m not into the sneaker look. When LAMO contacted me about their beach-chic footwear, I no longer had to hunt for a cute casual shoe because it found me.

There are lots of cute designs, but I felt that the Gypsy shoe fit my style and wardrobe more than any other. This has been my go-to shoe in recent weeks; it pairs well with a casual jeans and a tee which I tend to wear more often than not. The slip-on design is great because I’m always on the run and hate taking time to tie shoes.

I love the fringe detailing – it really dresses up a basic canvas shoe and takes it to the next level. I think I may need another pair of these to get me through the summer! I won’t feel so guilty about treating myself because not only are the shoes reasonable (most prices are in the $30-40 range), but they offer mens, women’s and children’s style so I can get us all squared away in one fell swoop.

I like this pair of loafers for Kevin. Just the right amount of casual for walking the boardwalk. Unfortunately I don’t see any warmer weather styles for the kids on the site currently, but these baby mocs are making me want another. Super cute!
