The carbon steel area is marked with an eye and a nose to make the dog complete. 
Dog Knife With Teeth has the same great features but the knife is serrated, so it will cut slightly firmer foods like a ripe pear. I put a lot of pressue on my finger with both of these knives and did not even get a paper cut.The knives are recommended for children age 3 and up.
