Mealtime is supposed to be a great way to bond with your family, something you should look forward to every day.  But I dread it.  My daughter is one picky eater.  She refuses to eat meat, vegetables, eggs, potatoes and lately even chicken nuggets.  It changes daily.  Something she scarfs down on Monday she comes to hate by Tuesday.  And getting her to try something new?  Forget about it.  If she doesn’t like it, it lands on the floor/wall/me without fail.

One thing she normally does like is a chicken and lasagna lean meal that I buy specifically for her, even though they’re not intended for kids.  They’re the best would could do, and our pediatrician said it was okay.  But recently she tried KidFresh, a line of frozen meals for kids that have no artificial anything.  I love the fact that the sodium content is way lower than those lean dinners.  They even contain hidden vegetables that are pureed and blended into the meal!
