Since I work eight hours per week at my “regular job”, Emma has become familiar with the daycare process and actually looks forward to going now. It wasn’t very easy in the beginning, as drop-offs were hard on her and in turn, Daddy too.
It’s much different now. She’s so excited to be there now that my husband’s lucky if he even gets a “bye daddy!” before she runs off to play. So after careful consideration, I decided to enroll her into a regular program this fall.
I hesitated for a while because one it’s very expensive and two I have issues with trusting strangers with my baby – who really isn’t a baby anymore but anyway…
After touring a facility not far from our home, I was so impressed that I enrolled her right then and there.
Saj and Sunny started their Kiddie Academy Franchise in Streamwood, Illinois after being “wowed” at their own discovery day while enrolling their daughter. It was a perfect fit for the duo, as Sunny had a Master’s in Education and Saj had his degree in hospitality.
They were impressed with Kiddie Academy just like I had been wowed by Emma’s new school, and they incorporated that wow factor into their business. I think it’s great that they were able to experience the business first as a consumer and in turn grasp the elements that would help their business thrive.
And boy did it. With great feedback from families and their local community, they are so thrilled with the results that they have five to ten locations planned for the Chicagoland area.
