Since having my son, I’ve noticed not only a great deal of hair loss but also significant breakage around the face; it could be him yanking on it, which he loves to do, or it could be just loss of strength and resilience due to the test of pregnancy and its affect on my body. I frequently notice fly aways around my face nowadays. I don’t care to use hair spray on my hair, though, as I prefer it to move naturally and feel soft to the touch. John Frieda sent over some lovely Full Repair Flyaway Tamer, however, and I was impressed with the results.
My very course, naturally heavily waved hair, before:
The wand itself, which I liken to a bulked up mascara wand, allowed for precision application right where you need it most:
My hairline post application of this fresh smelling serum from root down as needed along my hairline:
As you can see, the John Frieda Full Repair Flyaway Tamer Touch Up wand smoothed my flyaways right down without leaving my hair feeling crispy or processed. And I just love the fresh scent of this serum, I have to add. Like I said, I prefer not to be weighed down or to smell chemically processed. This was just lovely and easy to use for a targeted finish.
The John Frieda Fly Away Tamer retails for around $10 at drugstore.com.
For a limited time, John Frieda and Lauren Merkin have teamed up to offer a luxury clutch complete with either the John Frieda Fly Away Tamer or the John Frieda® Luxurious Volume Anytime Volume Refresher, which would be a perfect high-end Christmas present for pretty much any lady on your list. I wasn’t lucky enough to score a clutch myself but they look lovely.
