Every time I look at a Pine tree I think it’s flipping me the bird. Like, a thousand times. Look at all those middle fingers.
And now, I’m convinced of it. Allergies STINK!
There are a gazillion of these offenders in my back yard.
I’ve hired a hit man.

As proof that the internet has everything, I am entirely grateful to have found this post while searching for images of pine trees doing the flipping-the-bird thing. Because they do absolutely look like they’re doing that. My husband and I call them “finger trees”. I just had my character cite this post in her eco-snark blog as reference to the sort of tree she’d want to be if she were indeed to become one.
Thanks for posting this and making my day several years later. :)
Hahaha! I’m glad that someone out there agrees with me :)
I would look out the door at my HS and always think, damn you tree! You are free and I’m stuck in here! Screw you too!
