I never cleaned windows so much in my life until I became a mom.  There are smudges in every place her little fingers can reach.  This is especially noticeable on our windows.  When I catch the glass at an angle where I can see those handprints, I cringe.   It’s even more embarrassing when I notice the mess after guests leave our home.
