If you know me personally, or follow me anywhere in the social media realm, you know about my love for coffee. Not only the way it gives me that much needed jolt every morning, but the taste, the smell. I’m forever hooked. I even make mention of my “addiction” in my twitter profile.
When I was pregnant with Emma, the most difficult part of it was giving up coffee (for the most part). But this time, I am allowing myself a cup a day with my doctor’s blessing. And with all of the other struggles during this pregnancy, I am so grateful for my morning java.
For the most part I stick with hot coffee, even in the summer. But coffee is a treat to me, whether hot or cold. When I heard that International Delight was coming out with iced coffee drinks, I wanted to be one of the first to try them because they make my all-time favorite French Vanilla creamer.
I’m the lone coffee drinker in this house, so these are all mine, baby!
Okay, so I admit I’m not really watching my waistline at present, but I am pretty much obsessed with nutrition labels, and I was pleased to see the low fat content. The values are the same in all three varieties. Gotta love guilt-free indulgences! Now onto my little coffee tasting experiment…
First up, Original flavor. This one was just kind of meh, for me. It definitely lived up to the sweet and creamy, but that was about it. The sweetness overpowered my taste buds.
Next, I tried mocha. Much, much better. What girl doesn’t like chocolate? Sweet and creamy, and mocha. Yum.
Finally, we have French Vanilla. It was a close race between the mocha and this one, but the vanilla was my favorite of the three. I’m not exactly surprised since I use the french vanilla creamer in my daily hot coffee. This flavor to me tasted the most smooth and more natural than the other two.

I enjoyed all the flavors, but like you, the vanilla was my favorite. The vanilla was the first carton that we finished off, but the other two cartons are coming to an end too. Gotta get more on Jan 15!
I liked the vanilla the most as well! The Mocha seemed more sweet to me then the Original.. but they were all oh so good. I so can not wait for the summer to enjoy it on a hot day! :)
