"I’m a Rock Star" by Joanie Leeds and the Nightlights {Giveaway}

Emma and I love to get our groove on whenever the music is playing.  Any kind of music, we don’t care.  But when it’s good music, all the better.  Our newest favorite is Joanie Leeds and her latest album, “I’m a Rock Star”.
Joanie has such a passion for music, that, before she made it big she worked at Gymboree so that she could have the opportunity to sing with children during the day.  She enjoyed this much more than her night-life performances.

Doesn’t the album cover (above) convey fun?  That’s how I’d describe the 13 tracks that make up “I’m a Rock Star”.  Joanie has a beautiful voice that’s appealing to both Emma and myself.  I love that.  I hear enough “Old MacDonald” and “Wheels on the Bus”.  Sometime’s it’s fun to rock out like a couple of cool chicks!  The music on the cd is a compilation of many different music styles from rock to hip-hop, folk and more.

My favorite song is “I’m a Rock Star” which is a finalist in the Children’s category of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Have a listen, it’s right on her homepage.
