I’ve been struggling for a long time over whether to change my blog name. It’s always a chore having to make transitions like this, but I felt like I shouldn’t go around masquerading as money-saving blog any longer. You see, when I first started blogging, I posted about freebies and coupons several times daily. Then I realized that there were many other bloggers doing the same thing, only doing it much better than I could ever hope to.
Over time, this blog has evolved. I’m known for writing reviews and hosting fantastic giveaways. So, I thought about changing my name to reflect that, but I don’t want to be pigeon-holed into any one type of blog category. I want to be free to post about any topic I’d like. I’m still going to be offering the fun product giveaways, but I also want to add more valuable content here.
From this point forward, I will no longer be known as “The Penny-Pinching Mama”. I’m now “Girl Gone Mom”. I’ve updated this change on twitter, and I suppose I will start a new Facebook page soon as well. A brand new bloggy design is also in the works.
I wanted to write this post so that you know I’m still me. Hopefully, I haven’t confused you too much, and I hope you stick with me during this transitional period. :)
As for the giveaways going on currently, for some reason you cannot see all of the comments on my posts. Have no fear – I can see them all in my blogger dashboard.
