Spaving, if you haven’t heard of it, is defined as spending to save.
One of my favorite ways to spave is by shopping through cash back sites. All you have to do is visit the website and click through to the retailer you would like to shop at. That’s it! You automatically receive cash back on the items you purchase. My new favorite cash back resource is Splender, which features 800+ popular stores to choose from.
Here’s how it works:
So I made sure to first visit Splender to take advantage of the cash back offer – which at the time was 4%. Then I clicked over to Nordstrom to do some shopping. I looked for new sunnies, earrings and sneakers and I settled on what I really needed which was the sneakers. There were quite a few trainers to choose from and I wanted a bright, fun pair that I can not only wear during a workout but for wearing while doing my weekly errands. You know, when it becomes too cold for flip flops.
I’d seen the Nike Free trainers while out and about before, and I couldn’t pass up the anniversary sale prices. I was not able to decide which pair I wanted most, so I purchased them both. Help me decide, which pair should I keep?
One of the reasons I love shopping Nordstrom is the free shipping both ways. Combined with a $40 Nordstrom note and the 4% cash back I earned by shopping through Splender, and that adds up to an amazing deal on new kicks.
I was so excited to see my first package from Nordstrom waiting for me as I arrived home today. It took less than 2 days to arrive! I decided that I’ll wait until the second shipment arrives before deciding on my favorite color.
Splender is free to join and use for all of your online shopping. I like to treat myself to something fun once I’ve earned enough cash back from purchasing the things my family needs. Why wouldn’t you take advantage of a cash back offer just for shopping the stores you already shop? The additional step take a few seconds, and is so well worth it.
What would you do with your cash back from Splender?
