Honeywell brings the holidays to your door with My Chime {Review}

By Heather

31 cIT9VRXLYou deck the halls and trim the tree, but I bet you never even gave a thought about decorating your doorbell for the holidays.  The Honeywell My Chime is an excellent way to greet your guests with holiday cheer even before you can answer the door.

The system is completely wireless and will replace your regular doorbell.  This particular model came with a holiday sound card complete with some of our favorite Christmas tunes.  I filmed a brief video to go over the basics and show you what to expect.

The Honeywell My Chime with holiday sound card is available at Amazon.com for just under $50.  There are several other versions too, including one with a blank sound card and software so that you can choose whichever tunes suit you.

How about a cheering crowd for your Superbowl party, Take Me Out to the Ballgame for baseball’s opening day and spooky tunes for Halloween.  So when the holidays are over, you can still have a lot of fun with this.  Oh, and you can use your standard ding-dong tune as well, if you’re into that.

No compensation was received for this post.  I was sent a Honeywell My Chime to facilitate my candid review of the product; this didn’t affect what I had to say.

    I like this idea because our doorbell sounds like someone just threw a brick at a steel wall.
