Have you ever gone to give the kids a nice bubble bath only to find that you’re all out of bubble bath? I’ve been there – and the whining and tears that ensue are not fun. The kids are pretty bummed too! I recently discovered a super easy way to make my own bubbles and I’m kind of mad that I did not know this sooner.
This is a great way to use up leftover shampoo, and also perfect for those of us that like to know exactly what is going into our kids’ bath products. There are no crazy ingredients to buy – you just need a few common household products to make this homemade bubble bath.
You will need:
1/2 cup shampoo
3/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon table salt
Step 1: Stir together the shampoo and water in a medium size bowl.
Step 2: Add salt and stir until the mixture thickens.
Step 3: Use a funnel to pour the bubble bath into a shampoo bottle.

This year I’m making a list of things I can make for Christmas gifts – I just pinned this one!
I am always making bubble bath for my kids! I’ve never tried a recipe with salt in it before though. I will tomorrow night though! :-)

That is such an easy bubble bath recipe! I will have to remember it when my son runs out of his bottle of bubble bath.
bubbles are fun for every age not just for kids. I whine when I’m all out lol
Well, how easy is that! I remember always trying to swish my hair around when I was little to try and get big bubbles. Never worked. I guess it’s cause I was doing it all wrong lol.
