Have you ever gone to give the kids a nice bubble bath only to find that you’re all out of bubble bath? I’ve been there – and the whining and tears that ensue are not fun. The kids are pretty bummed too! I recently discovered a super easy way to make my own bubbles and I’m kind of mad that I did not know this sooner.
This is a great way to use up leftover shampoo, and also perfect for those of us that like to know exactly what is going into our kids’ bath products. There are no crazy ingredients to buy – you just need a few common household products to make this homemade bubble bath.
You will need:
1/2 cup shampoo
3/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon table salt
Step 1: Stir together the shampoo and water in a medium size bowl.
Step 2: Add salt and stir until the mixture thickens.
Step 3: Use a funnel to pour the bubble bath into a shampoo bottle.

My kids try to make their own bubble bath all the time. They just pour in straight shampoo. I swear I’m going to start making them buy their own! What a fun project to try. Pinning.

Robert, it actually helps prevent pruning and helps to heal bruises, FYI.

Hello from Home Matters link up. This is an awesome idea. I love that it only requires 3 ingredients. My kids will love it.
