Holiday Gift Guide: Whirl Ball Bounce from HearthSong Giveaway!

When browsing the toy aisles of the department store, I see a lot of the same old stuff. The toys are great, and there are tons of things that appeal to my daughter, but sometimes you want to buy something a little unexpected. And I always find great, fun, unique gifts at HearthSong.

Emmas favorite arcade game is skee-ball, so when I found the toy room equivalent, I knew this was the perfect game for her playroom. The Whirl Ball Bounce features game sounds, lights, and electronic LED scoring just like you’ll find in the arcade. It includes 3 balls and a trampoline target. Kids can either toss the ball directly onto the board, or bounce off of the trampoline for a bigger challenge.

The only issue I had with this game is that it’s not the same scale as it appears in the listing on HearthSong. It appears to be displayed on the floor, but it’s really a table-top toy. Once you get over this, it still is a very fun foldable toy that won’t take up a lot space in your toy room. That being said, I feel the price point of $59.98 is a bit high for what it is.

Designed for kids ages 7 and older, the Whirl Ball Bounce requires 3 AAA batteries and measures 29-1/2″L x 15-3/4″W x 26-1/2″H. We’ve been having a lot of fun with it, and it’s definitely something different that breaks up the monotony of other playroom toys.
